Please join us for a special Public Health in the Rockies pre-conference event!
The Colorado Public Health Association and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s (CDPHE) Prevention Services Division, is offering a free pre-conference workshop: Advancing Equity and Justice through Chronic Disease Prevention & Management in Colorado for public health professionals and community and healthcare partners on Tuesday, August 27th at the Keystone Lodge & Conference Center. Welcome and breakfast will be from 8:15am-9:00am. The pre-conference workshop will go from 9:00am-4:00pm.
This day-long interactive workshop will include:
- Opening Presentation and Dialogue. Socially Determined: Moving to Public Health 3.0: Outline of an Implementation Roadmap for Chronic Disease Programs
- Panel Discussion. Panel and Discussion: Collaborations that Keep Chronic Disease Relevant in Public Health 3.0 (Highlighting Food Security, Transportation and Housing)
- Presentation and Discussion: CDPHE Chronic Disease Framework & Funding
- Presentation: Moving to Chronic Disease 3.0 Discussion: CDPHE Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Branch Priorities and Collaborations that Address the Determinants of Health
- Discussions: Moving to Chronic Disease 3.0 Together: Examples, Ideas, Discussions.
Linking Chronic Disease Priorities, Collaborations that Address Determinants of Health, Data and More (Topics will be generated by participants throughout the day. This portion of the agenda will be highly interactive)
